本案為台北市仁愛路新建案之接待會館，設置於仁愛路巷弄間的舊大樓一樓，巷弄間圍繞著藝廊、家具展間及咖啡館，頗具有老台北的風味！由於建案的地緣關係，我們將設計的主題設定為Nostalgia，藉由對於仁愛圓環周邊新舊環境風華的回顧與展現，拉開對建案介紹的序幕！

由於舊有建築立面本體是圓拱造型，「拱」的語彙與我們希望呈現的懷舊主題正好相符，因此設計上利用這樣的元素加以延伸，並將其深化為空間形體的主軸，將該元素一路由立面貫穿到室內空間的處理。

外觀立面藉由多層次、不同大小比例的圓拱層疊出入口意象，讓原本景深不足的入口產生延伸的效果，並增添了一絲神秘感。

室內的空間以藝廊的架構呈現，主要區分為大面積的照片展示空間、模型區、放映區、吧檯區、VIP洽談室及辦公室，主要的空間都是開放式的，空間介面亦以拱做為區隔。

設計上刻意保留舊有的石板地坪，僅在局部位置崁入台北街頭常會出現的水溝蓋，大面積的照片牆展示內容則是基地周邊所有新的、舊的令人饗往或懷念的知名地標，藉由這樣的手法，營造出彷彿置身台北街頭，回顧這些周邊場景的效果！

This project depicts a new reception hall being renovated on the bottom floor of an aged building in the heart of Taipei city Ren-Ai district. The neighborhood has an elegance of old Taipei, completed with nearby art galleries, furniture showrooms and coffee shops. Based on the location characteristics, we chose “Nostalgia” as the design theme to introduce a new chapter from an old glamour.

Arch was evidently the main element used in this aged building which is now being adopted as the core concept throughout. By adding multiple layers of arches, in various scales, to the exterior, we were able to create additional depth with some mysterious feel to the entrance opening.

The interior is configured like an art gallery, equipped with spacious open areas for showrooms, model displaying, viewing, bars, VIP conference and office use. All areas are separated with arches to further define each individual space.

Special attention is paid in re-creating an atmosphere filled with old time memories. This is achieved by detailing the slate flooring with inlays of old Taipei drainage grates and displaying photographs of all time favorite landmarks. Our hope is to give people the opportunity to relive a history of their own.
